URGENT imap_open !!!

Bonjour :
Amis Php, j’ai un problème avec la fonction imap_open qui permet de se connecté a un serveur POP3, la fonction ne retourne pas le flux IMAP,

La fonction affiche un erreur d’ouverture :
$mbox = imap_open("{localhost:110/pop3}INBOX","user_id","password");

D’autre part la syntaxe suivant n’affiche rien.

$mbox = @imap_open("{localhost:110/pop3}INBOX","user_id","password");
